To be a light, a ray of hope to people in need. To provide shelter, food, life, and job skills training in a clean, safe, Christian Environment.

The North East Georgia Homeless Veterans Shelter, is a 501C (3) non-profit Christian Ministry, in Winder Georgia, that serves homeless male Veterans and their families in the Northeast Georgia area.

We offer shelter (if needed) we offer any veteran, food, clothing and help to connect to permanent housing through the VA housing voucher program, which affords access to a comprehensive array of support services to homeless Veterans and their FAMILIES (some of our quests have Grandfathers, Dads, Brothers and Sisters who have served).

Our shelter is structured in accordance with the VA homeless Veteran per diem program, which allows up to 25% of our available beds to be used by non veterans.

The Northeast Georgia Homeless Veterans Shelter is a Level One Care Facility. We are not a Treatment Provider. Our Veterans are required to obtain and maintain Full-time employment

Our eligibility requirements to be considered for housing are the same as the Veterans Administration. You must have completed 180 days or 6 months of Active Duty to be considered a Veteran. You must also have a copy of DA Form DD-214 proving such. Or have a direct family member who has served.

We are a State approved Housing Provider THOR and Re-entry. Without the generous support of our community and the collaboration with other agencies, we could not provide these services to our homeless veterans and their families.

To impact nations and a generation with a message and pattern that will take them to higher dimensions of life in God. To teach, preach and reach a lost and dying generation, crossing all boundaries through the power of Jesus Christ as we take a stand for Christ and usher in the glory of God.

Equip, impart and empower every person to fulfill their destiny in God as well as the destiny of The Northeast Georgia Homeless Veteran Shelter.
